Anni worked as Visual Assets Manager for travel metasearch engine KAYAK from September 2018 to July 2020, and as Art Buyer on a freelance, regular contractor basis from March 2017 to September 2018. Anni personally created and shaped global position as Visual Assets Manager for all of marketing – position did not exist before tenure at KAYAK; stationed primarily between Berlin and Copenhagen offices, consulting regularly with teams in Zurich, London, Sydney, New York City, Stamford (USA), Cambridge (USA) and San Francisco.
Responsibilities included:
Managing the Europe Brand Marketing team's workflow of over 100 visual asset requests per year across global markets, acting as the point-person for all photo and video curation needs for KAYAK's European markets (UK/FR/ES/PL) and its international portfolio brands OpenTable (US/UK/DE), momondo (EU), checkfelix (AT), SWOODOO (DE) and Cheapflights (US/UK)
Configuring and management of entire organization’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system of 33,000+ marketing assets to ensure all content creators were equipped with the best visual assets for their briefs (2019 total uploads: 18,100 assets; 2019 total downloads by users worldwide: 16,675 assets; 300+ users total); onboarding and training all new users
Ensuring internal and external legal compliance on a global scale to all imagery licensing, intellectual property and usage restrictions
Building and maintaining strategic cooperations across teams and brands worldwide to align global vision
Leading negotiations of rates and contracts with external suppliers to ensure most competitive rates on the market
Working directly with team of marketing leads, art directors, content producers and production team to generate campaign assets, TVCs, product spots, sponsorships, blog articles and social media ads
Acting as ambassador for each portfolio brand's distinct visual styles, guiding international stakeholders to find the best images and videos for their content needs
Identifying brand imagery content gaps; researching and staying abreast of content trends and new imagery platforms
