Anni Tracy is an art buyer, producer and photographer, and the former photo editor of US newspaper, The Portland Tribune. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in photography from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Her passion for adventure and visual exploration has influenced moves to New Mexico, Alaska, Colorado, Portland, Barcelona and Berlin in the past decade, as well as encouraging extended photographic tours through much of the world. She now lives and works in Berlin.

Anni is an art buyer in both advertising and editorial/publishing. Anni currently works as a regular contractor for KAYAK Europe, where she sources fresh, dynamic photo and video assets for the brand's marketing and social media campaigns, as well as managing image sourcing at the Berlin headquarters for the KAYAK, SWOODOO and checkfelix travel blogs and press releases.
Anni worked as an art buyer and shoot producer through from 2015 through 2017 for one of Europe's leading publishing houses, Axel Springer SE, and its client magazines: Roland Berger Consultancy's "Think-Act"; GDV's Positionen Magazine; Hypovereinsbank's online banking magazine; and Deutsche Bahn's Dein Bahnhof magazine. Anni was also the art buyer for Media Consulta Advertising's global headquarters in Berlin, responsible for producing photo shoots, conducting photo research on all advertising pitches and purchasing/contract negotiating of imagery on campaigns for clients such as the European Commission, Lidl, Grana Padano Cheese, Prosciutto di San Daniele, Gründerland-Bayern, Flughafen BER and Make it in Germany.
Before relocating to Berlin, Anni was the photo editor of the west coast newspaper, the Portland Tribune, where she worked logistics on photo assignments to staff photographers and carefully edited all photographs for the paper's weekly print edition and daily online editions. For the newspaper, Anni also assisted her editorial team in proofing and copy editing the print edition each week.

Anni produced photo shoots for the international advertising agency, Media Consulta, as well as publishing powerhouse, Axel Springer SE – both headquartered in Berlin. Responsibilities include shoot logistics and budget management, research and hiring of photo crew, hiring of makeup stylists and food stylists, locations scouting, selection of models, prop acquisitions and styling, and art direction. In 2014 she also worked on pre-production, editing and website creation for Cineman Films, on the art film The Last Day of Rain. In 2012, Anni produced and conducted interviews for Comcast's television station, "On Demand" in the Portland, Seattle and Spokane metropolitan areas of the USA.
Anni earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Photography from Drexel University. Since her college days, she has photographed on a freelance basis internationally. In Berlin, she regularly photographed and produced photo shoots for advertising campaigns for the international agency, Media Consulta. Before leaving the US, Anni photographed on assignment for 6 years for the west coast newspaper, The Portland Tribune, and its sister publications, Community Newspapers and Sustainable Life.
Anni training is in traditional darkroom practices, and she had the honor of photo assisting for Alan Ross in Santa Fe, NM, where she assisted in all darkroom printing and presentation needs for the Ansel Adams Special Edition Prints. She made the leap to digital 8 years ago, and at the west coast newspaper, The Portland Tribune, Anni edited and worked post-production for all images used in the paper's weekly print edition and daily online edition. She currently does post-production and retouching in Berlin for Media Consulta Advertising on selected projects.
